Melania Delai is the rising star of Italian tennis. Melania is a girl with great physical, technical and human qualities. An ambitious athlete who, with her daily work and passion for her sport, managed to forge ahead, achieving all the set goals. Despite her young age, Melania has already had the opportunity to experience the world of professional tennis. After several victories in youth tournaments, Melania conquered a singles title and two doubles titles in the ITF circuit so far. Also, she achieved her first victory in a WTA tournament at the Italian Open (Internazionali BNL d’Italia) in 2020, beating the Japanese player Hibino, number 78 in the world (760 places ahead in the WTA ranking) and seeded 9 of the tournament’s qualification draw.
