The musculoskeletal system has the function of giving shape, stability and movement to the human body. It consists of bones, muscles, joints, cartilage, tendons, ligaments and other connective tissue. Collagen is the most abundant structural protein in our body, present together with elastic fibres and other proteins in connective tissue, which has the function of supporting and binding tissues and organs to each other. The production of collagen in our body reaches its maximum level around 20-30 years; after this period, due to ageing, we see a progressive decrease in its production, with a consequent deterioration of all the structures of the skeletal muscle system. The articular cartilage becomes thinner resulting in bone rubbing and inflammation and the joints become less elastic and more susceptible to injury, the connective tissue of tendons and ligaments becomes more rigid and brittle limiting the movement of the joints, the amount of muscle tissue, the number and size of muscle fibres gradually decrease, leading to a slight loss of strength.

Intensive workouts with short recovery times can increase the risk of injury to muscles, joints, cartilage, bones, tendons and ligaments.

FLEX MOBILITY+ contains Bodybalance^® and Fortigel^® hydrolysed collagen peptides with a specific molecular weight in order to stimulate certain types of cells involved in collagen biosynthesis. Thanks to their chemical-physical structure and high solubility, they are easily absorbed and digested by the body and easily reach the target organs. The mechanism of action of these products consist of:

• stimulation of cellular synthesis (namely chondrocytes and muscle cells)
• provision of constituents for new collagen formation

Fortigel^® consists of bioactive collagen peptides that can stimulate chondrocytes. Chondrocytes are cells specialized in the production of collagen and extracellular matrix (including proteoglycans such as chondroitin, glucosaminoglycans and hyaluronic acid) in the right proportions to ensure flexibility and mobility of the articular cartilage and to allow movements.

On the other hand, Bodybalance^® contains bioactive collagen peptides capable of stimulating muscle cells. Recent studies have shown that Bodybalance^® stimulates m-TOR, a protein that regulates cell growth and protein synthesis, promoting muscle mass development and seems to influence fat metabolism for energy purposes, leading to a reduction in fat mass in favour of lean mass development.

FLEX MOBILITY+ is enriched with vitamins and minerals that contribute to the function and formation of connective tissues and collagen and hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a glucosaminoglycan, one of the fundamental components of connective tissues. Its main role is to retain water, improving lubrication and the cartilage cushioning performance, protecting tissues from excessive tension and stress.

FLEX MOBILITY+ can be taken in the daily routine to tone and strengthen the muscle, to support articular cartilage and delay the onset of ageing linked to collagen production.

Recommended dosage is add 25 g (2 level scoop) in 200-250 ml of water and take once a day, preferably away from main meals. For a better result, to be used at least three months.
