CAFFEINE+

Caffeine is a natural alkaloid found in various plants and acts as a psychoactive drug. After oral ingestion, it is rapidly absorbed, reaching its plasma peak in 90 minutes and distributed throughout all tissues, with a half-life of about 4 hours. Caffeine can enhance athletic performance through three mechanisms: adenosine blockage, increased calcium release in muscles, and effects on catecholamines.
It blocks adenosine, reducing fatigue and pain, thus increasing muscle strength. Although it was once believed to stimulate fat metabolism and spare glycogen, it is now thought that this is not the primary mechanism behind performance enhancement. Caffeine stimulates the breakdown of triglycerides and the release of fatty acids to produce energy.
Additionally, caffeine can reduce the perception of pain during exercise, allowing athletes to train more intensely and for longer periods.

CAFFEINE+ provides 200 mg of caffeine and 300 mg of EnXtra, an extract of Alpinia Galanga, a plant from the Zingiberaceae family (the same family as ginger), native to Southeast Asia, which complements the effect of caffeine by enhancing mental focus. In fact, a study has shown that the effect of caffeine combined with EnXtra lasts much longer without concentration drops, avoiding tachycardia or insomnia. This supports the idea that EnXtra has a truly synergistic action with caffeine, optimizing its dopaminergic activity. Furthermore, it prevents the "caffeine crash," induced by cerebral vasoconstriction caused by caffeine, by promoting vasodilation, maintaining blood flow, and improving alertness and concentration.

It is recommended to take the product about half an hour before competition or training.
