VITA DK+

VITA DK+ is a dietary supplement in tablet form based on vitamin D3 and vitamin K2, formulated to fully support the athlete’s well-being and the body’s health. The synergy between vitamin D3 and K2 contributes to a proper mineralization of bones and teeth, to the maintenance of muscle function, and to the support of normal defense mechanisms.

Vitamin D is called a “conditional” vitamin because our body can produce it when the skin is exposed to sunlight. It can also be taken through food or supplements. Once absorbed, vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) and D2 are transformed, through processes involving the liver and kidneys, into their active form: calcitriol, a true hormone that acts on numerous receptors spread throughout the body’s tissues.

Besides its central role in the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus and in maintaining the balance of bone tissue, vitamin D performs many other functions:

• supports the proper functioning of the immune system;
• contributes to normal muscle function;
• takes part in the processes of cell division and specialization.

The presence of vitamin K2 completes the action of vitamin D3: it promotes the correct directing of calcium towards the bones, helping to keep them strong, and at the same time it intervenes in regulating the mineralization processes of tissues.

VITA DK+ contains plant-based vitamin D3 and is developed to ensure an optimal and balanced supply of D3 and K2 in a single and convenient daily intake.

1 tablet once a day, preferably during one of the main meals.

Bulking agents: cellulose, tricalcium phosphate; vitamin K2 (menaquinone), stabilizers: sodium carboxymethylcellulose, mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; vitamin D (cholecalciferol), anti-caking agents: magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide.
